SPECTATORS

Please note that aerobatic contests operate at a much slower pace than airshows.

To help spectators better understand how each flight and segment of the contest works, a Public Address System/Announcer will be on site to provide ongoing commentary and explanations throughout the event without commenting his/hers personal opinions about the quality of the maneuvers.

  • For safety reasons, the maximum limit for the amount of spectators at the airport grounds will be 300 people.

    It will be on a first come, first serve basis. All spectators will be handed a pass after paying a $15.00 fee at the airport entrance.

    All spectators must return their pass at the airport entrance upon leaving the viewing area in order to help us keep track of the amount of spectators.

    Once the 300-person capacity has been reached, all spectators will be directed to park and watch at the Mennonite Heritage Village.

    The Mennonite Heritage Village has generously offered their grounds as another viewing area for our spectators. However, all spectators must pay their $15.00 per person entrance fee to be granted access into the viewing area.

  • Any individual who violates the following rules may be subject to fines and/or denied access to the current and future events:

    • All spectators must remain inside the enclosed viewing area including in the event of an emergency involving the airplanes.

    • No use of drones, lasers, or other objects that may present hazard to the operation of airplanes and pilots.

  • Airport Viewing Area

    • $15.00 per person donation to the Aerobatics Club of Manitoba, Chapter 6.

    • Cash, Debit, or Credit allowed.

    • Must be paid at the airport entrance.

    Note: Please do not enter through MHV’s Gate 4 (western side along Highway 12) as this entrance is reserved for a Wedding Event!
